Smokey Takes a Night Off

01-27-2007-  After being stuck up at Station 26 for the last few months Smokey was telling a few of the guys that he was getting a little cabin fever.  The guys took some pity on him and invited Smokey out for a night around the county.  After a bit of tidying up and picking out what to wear, Smokey and boys were on their way.  There first stop was to grab some chow at McDonalds.  After that is was on to Station 39 for a quick moment before heading back over Milford.  Unfortunately Milford had bingo so they couldn’t hang out so we moved on up to Blooming Grove to see what was going on up there.  They knocked on the door a few times but no one answered.  The group then headed south to Delaware but at that point Smokey thought it was too late and sure enough he was right, nobody was home there either.  Feeling a little defeated that nobody wanted to hang out they headed back to Station 26.  The boys promised Smokey another night out to see other stations when everybody isn’t so busy.  So if anybody sees Smokey and his band of misfits please invite them in.
